Today was my last day in Sydney so I had a nice Breakfast of pancakes to start the day.
I made my way over to Hyde Park :) to go to the Australian Museum.
I mainly was going to see the First Nations Gallery, which was really good. Telling some of the history and traditions of the people local to Sydney. You can find out more here: First Nations cultures and history - The Australian Museum
Fish and crab made from old nets that were left out in the ocean.
I also had a look at their current exhibition 200 Treasures. This included a cassowary skeleton and a stuffed lyrebird. You can listen to the entire audio guide online: 200 Treasures of the Australian Museum: Audio Tour - Audio Tour
It was time to head to the airport.
Docks on the other side of the runway.
Then goodbye to Sydney
The cloud was weird over the mountains.
The sunset was an incredible red
Over the fields
And the North-East of Melbourne
By the time we landed it was dark
Checked into my final apartment with this lovely (but noisy) view!
